Can you connect ADSL and 3G simultaneously?

Yes - the sessions can run concurrently, usage will reflect the ADSL and 3G sessions separately. Note! The SMART product range excludes Uncapped ADSL Packages

How does Data Roll over work?

With Data Roll over, the subscriber can use more data when it's needed. Data Roll Over refers to data not being used will be carried over to the next month up to a maximum of 100% of the subscription.

How do I subscribe?

You can register and subscribe online by using the Selfcare Zone. You can also call in (0861SAINET) and request a subscription form. ADSL services are activated immediately, 3G services takes 24 hours to activate.

What is the contract term?

Month to Month subscriptions apply if you own your own data card. 24 Month contract applies if you opt for the R75 per month.

Can I use my existing Data Card?

Most data cards work, including Vodafone Cards. Please email info@sainet.co.za to confirm if your card can be used.

How does the SIM work?

Sainet provides a new data SIM. MTN contract subscribers can use their SIMs, which we will provision on our platform. Provisioning takes approx 24 hours.

It's unclear to me how the ADSL and 3G caps work together? Do you get 1.5GB of ADSL plus 250MB of 3G as the website implies, or one or the other as the article implies?

Example: The basic offering is priced at R99 per account which allows a user to use either 1.5GB of ADSL bandwidth, 250MB of HSDPA bandwidth or a combination of the two. If you don't use 3G at all for the month you can use 1.5GB ADSL. If you're travelling, you can use 250MB 3G. if your at the office and travelling, you can use both options and the usage will be drawn from the single account.
